OPERATION STARLITE.

SEA STALLIONS.

A Marine Corps CH-53E Sea Stallion assigned to Helicopter Marine Medium Squadron “White Knights” launches from the flight deck aboard USS Peleliu.

 The passengers and cargo are the first wave to go ashore Pakistan in preparation of a mission to deliver relief supplies to flood-stricken regions. The CH-53E is loaded with tools, ground support equipment, communications gear and general supplies to support flight operations.

OPERATION STARLITE.

1st Lt. Christopher Sylvain from the 1st Squadron, 33rd Cavalry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division runs for cover during a gun battle with Anti Iraqi Forces during Operation Starlite, a nine-day mission in the Salah Ah Din province of Iraq. The mission was conducted to rid the area of Anti Iraqi Forces.
